About the Role Senior Software Engineer at Paga takes ownership of the implementation and technical effectiveness across broad functional and/or technical areas of the platform. The role contributes to the design and improvement of solutions and advances the software development practices through peer leadership, code reviews, technical training, process improvements, and thought leadership. The position operates within Paga's CORII values (Collaboration, Ownership, Results Orientation, Integrity and Innovation). What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end implementation and technical effectiveness for broad product areas or platform components.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of solutions and software architecture.
- Drive the improvement of software development practices through peer leadership, code reviews, technical training, process improvements, and technical thought leadership.
- Provide technical leadership within the software development team and engage in platform-wide technical/architectural discussions. What We're Looking For
- Degree in a related discipline; or advanced degree with at least 4 years of enterprise software development experience, or 6+ years of continuous experience in enterprise software development without advanced degree.
- 6+ years of continuous experience in enterprise software development (or 4+ years with advanced degree).
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring and other Java frameworks.
- Solid experience with team development tools and organizational structures.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership in a software development team.
