Senior Software Engineer

You will provide technical services to MobSquad's clients across North America, working alongside talented developers and data scientists to deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Canada-based colleagues to deliver technical services to MobSquad's clients
• Work with a team of developers and data scientists to build, deploy, and maintain software
• Write production-ready code and contribute to the full software development lifecycle
• Develop and deliver microservice architectures and distributed systems
• Create, evolve, and consume APIs to enable robust software solutions
• Build highly scalable and performant enterprise software
• Follow industry best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and revision control
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to tackle open-ended problems with broadly-defined goals to deliver business value

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field from an accredited institution
• Over three years of experience building and delivering excellent, user-friendly software
• Over three years of experience writing production-ready code
• Mastery of one or more programming languages (Python, Java)
• Experience with back-end frameworks (Django, Flask, Spring, Node.js)
• Experience creating and delivering microservice architectures and distributed systems
• Experience developing highly scalable and performant enterprise software
• Strong experience developing, deploying, and implementing APIs
• Proven ability to develop high-quality code adhering to industry best practices (e.g., code reviews, unit testing, revision control)
• A self-motivated professional with a track record of solving open-ended problems and delivering business value
