Role: Join Microsoft Advertising’s Ads Data Management Platform team to build a modern User Identity Graph. The role focuses on ingesting data from multiple Microsoft sources, building scalable graph pipelines, monitoring data quality, and improving reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and resilient identity-graph systems.
- Build data pipelines, diagnostics, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
- Work with Applied Scientists on graph-quality measurement and experimentation.
- Collaborate across teams on architecture, performance, security, and reliability.
- Develop production software and automation using AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Manage deployments, feature experiments, telemetry, incidents, and on-call support.
- Conduct code reviews and improve engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field + 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Preferred: Master’s + 6+ years or Bachelor’s + 8+ years.
- Strong focus on scalable systems, security, testing, monitoring, and production reliability.
