About the Role We are seeking a strong Java Senior Developer with 6-8 years of experience in the fintech domain, focusing on enterprise-grade data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting. This role offers exposure to diverse business use cases and opportunities to design, develop and implement solutions that solve complex problems for current and future product needs. What You'll Do
- Design and develop technology-based business solutions aligned with product requirements.
- Develop high-quality code following standards, tiers, and service development, including enterprise Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, and messaging (JMS/ActiveMQ).
- Participate in requirement gathering (JAD sessions) and support documentation; collaborate with Product Management to resolve ambiguities and queries.
- Work with Product Management to resolve or raise queries and ensure clear requirements.
- Contribute to the full software lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance; solve complex software system issues.
- Utilize Unix/Oracle/SQL environments and contribute to integration and deployment activities.
- Apply Agile Development, Scrum, and Iterative approaches to deliver value.
- Leverage security and integration concepts as needed (OAuth/SAML/LDAP/Kerberos; MQ and other integration frameworks). What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years of experience designing, developing and architecting Java-based systems for large business environments (Java, J2EE).
- Strong design and coding skills in Enterprise Java, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, REST web services, JMS (ActiveMQ), XML, JSON.
- Proficiency with Unix/Oracle/SQL.
- Experience in Agile Development, Scrum, and iterative approaches; ability to gather requirements and support documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Management to resolve queries and clarify requirements.
- Experience with one of the following: Activiti BPM, DROOLS Rules Engine; experience with authentication protocols (OAuth/SAML/LDAP/Kerberos) and integration technologies.
- Experience with MQ/ messaging frameworks is a plus. Nice to Have
