Senior Software Engineer in Post Market Quality (PMQ)

About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer in Post Market Quality (PMQ) at Roche Diagnostics Polska, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and performance of Roche’s Digital Solutions, handling complaints related to HIS/LIS, medical data networks, middleware, data communication, apps, and algorithms. You will act as a highly autonomous, deep-dive technical investigator within an Agile environment, focusing on root-cause analysis and bridging field trouble-shooting with core R&D. What You'll Do

• Handle complex medical software complaints, safety issues, and product inquiries for software products (on premise, cloud, mobile, apps, etc.).
• Independently manage the entire case lifecycle from creation and classification to in-depth investigation, collaboration with on-site trouble-shooting teams, documentation, and final resolution.
• Transfer unresolved cases to the development department and act as a senior technical expert for case resolution by reading and understanding complex source code to identify root causes.
• Master Roche internal quality processes and regulatory background to justify decisions.
• Interface with Affiliates and Country Organizations; communicate essential quality information and support regional partnerships.
• Use automation and data analytics to enhance case handling and proactively monitor product performance data.
• Serve as a trusted technical proxy for the Principal Engineer when required. What We're Looking For
• A degree in computer science or an IT-related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in software engineering or IT support roles.
• Strong IT skills, including the ability to read and debug complex source code across different programming languages to uncover root causes.
• Ability to work independently, even when facing uncertainty.
• Ability to present technical work to stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). Nice to Have
• Experience with healthcare software, hospital LIS/HIS, data networks, middleware, apps, and cloud/on-premise software.
• Familiarity with automation and data analytics in a software quality context.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory/compliance environments.
• Experience reading multiple programming languages and debugging across platforms. Compensation & Benefits
