About the Role
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help Databricks build a world-class Data Intelligence Platform. You will partner with product management to deliver end-to-end experiences—from loading data to visualizing results, modeling, and deploying production artifacts—while focusing on user experience and scalable systems.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product management and teammates to design and deliver robust, scalable full-stack features that simplify data insights and enable customers to act on data.
- Build simple workflows to create, configure, and manage large-scale compute clusters, networks and data sources.
- Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines with powerful features to visualize data graphs.
- Provide seamless onboarding and management for all members of an organization to become data-driven.
- Deliver a great SQL-centric data exploration and dashboarding experience, and contribute to an interactive environment for collaborative data projects at massive scale with an easy path to production.
- Contribute to robust front-end architecture and UI/UX, working toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; strong passion for user experience and design.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember).
- 5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables and deliver customer value.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or analytics UX is a plus.
- Familiarity with data platforms and collaborative data projects at scale.
Compensation & Benefits
- Local Pay Range: USD 157,700 – 213,800 per year.
- Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits as listed.
