About the Role Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (TypeScript) is part of the Avigilon Alta Video UI team responsible for the mission-critical UI infrastructure powering our VMS. The role focuses on designing and maintaining frontend software, implementing complex state management, and integrating robust APIs to support a scalable real-time video management system, with a hybrid work model in London. What You'll Do
- Analyze, develop, design, and maintain software for the organization’s products and systems.
- Perform system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
- Develop, validate, and test structures and user documentation.
- Architect and implement complex state management patterns and robust API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
- Optimize delivery by contributing to CI/CD pipelines and leveraging Firebase services for rapid, reliable feature deployment. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a heavy focus on modern frontend architecture.
- Proven ability to manage intricate application states and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux).
- Deep understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with Firebase and CI/CD workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern CSS/HTML.
- Strong foundation in design patterns and the ability to drive architectural changes across a large codebase.
- Demonstrated team player skills and a willingness to mentor others. Nice to Have
