About the Role The Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (TypeScript) will contribute to the Avigilon Alta Video UI platform, helping build reliable real-time tools for VMS. Based in Edinburgh with a hybrid working model, you will design, develop, and maintain frontend software that scales across a global user base. What You'll Do
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software for the organization’s products and systems.
- Perform system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
- Develop, validate, and test structures and user documentation.
- Architect and implement complex state management patterns and robust API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
- Optimize delivery by contributing to CI/CD pipelines and leveraging Firebase services for rapid, reliable feature deployment. What We're Looking For
- Experience in software engineering with a heavy focus on modern frontend architecture.
- Proven ability to manage intricate application states and data flows (Pinia, Vuex, or Redux).
- Deep understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with Firebase and CI/CD workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern CSS/HTML.
- Strong foundation in design patterns and the ability to drive architectural changes across a large codebase.
