About the Role VALCE Talent Solutions seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Client Engineering in Guadalajara on a hybrid basis. You will build scalable, production‑grade systems and collaborate across engineering, product, and AI teams to bring AI-enabled solutions from prototype to production while ensuring reliability, observability, latency, cost, security, and governance. What You'll Do
- Build AI-enabled applications and platforms using Generative AI and agentic design patterns, taking solutions from prototype to production with sound engineering discipline.
- Design and implement cloud-native services using Kubernetes and managed cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and develop robust APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, AI, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high‑quality software.
- Improve PDLC/SDLC efficiency through automation, CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Write high-quality, well-tested production code in Java, Python, or other backend languages; ensure reliability, observability, and performance. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, maintainable, production-grade systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar backend languages; hands-on experience with agentic or AI-enabled applications.
- Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with React and/or Next.js; familiarity with modern AI frameworks, SDKs, and tools for AI applications and agent workflows.
- Experience with cloud-native development using Kubernetes and managed cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD, automation, and engineering productivity tooling.
- Advanced English; strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have
- Additional front-end experience with modern frameworks; familiarity with inference APIs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and AI safety controls. Compensation & Benefits
