About the Role Centric Software is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices for our AI-enabled product-concept-to-commercialization platform used by retailers, brands and manufacturers. The role emphasizes building non-blocking, asynchronous applications with reactive programming and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable services in production. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices with focus on scalability, efficiency, and stability.
- Use reactive programming frameworks like Quarkus reactive to build non-blocking, asynchronous applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to align requirements, plan sprints, and deploy reliable microservices in production.
- Write clean, efficient code following best practices in reactive programming and microservices; participate in code reviews.
- Build unit tests, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in distributed systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, code, and processes to support team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI tools as part of daily workflow for code generation, architecture exploration, codebase analysis, and rapid prototyping.
