Cape Fox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a government customer in developing a secure, data-driven web application hosting predictive analytics tools. The role requires a strong background in Python and JavaScript, the ability to build and maintain full-stack applications, and the capacity to visualize hierarchical data in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
What You'll Do
- Aid in the development of a web application that hosts a suite of predictive analytics
- Demonstrate knowledge in actual code
- Demonstrate writing a web application independently
- Demonstrate the ability to visualize data
- Demonstrate visualizing hierarchical data structures
- Obtain HIPAA training upon performance of work
- Maintain HIPAA standards and prevent data leaks
- Collaborate with data scientists and support dashboards using Flask, React, or Angular
- Integrate SQL databases as needed
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years Python and 3+ years JavaScript experience
- Proficient in building and maintaining full-stack web applications
- Experience in HIPAA-compliant environments
- Familiarity with Scrum, Git, UNIX, and basic networking principles
- Experience developing dashboards using frameworks like Flask, React, or Angular
- Experience integrating SQL databases
- Ability to visualize data and hierarchical data structures
- Able to work independently and in a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Flask, React, or Angular dashboards (desirable)
- Strong data visualization skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 – $140,000 USD per year
