Job title: Senior Software Engineer (Automation/Manual QA Engineer) - Private Debt
About the Role Senior QA Engineer to help design, build, and maintain automated and manual QA for SimCorp's Private Debt initiative, with opportunities to learn APL and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid Warsaw setup.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using APL, C# and related tools
- Execute manual and exploratory testing to validate complex financial solutions and edge cases
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to define clear, testable requirements
- Analyze and report bugs with clarity and precision; help maintain product quality
- Learn and apply APL to automate solutions; participate in continuous integration, quality gates, and deployment pipelines
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in QA or software engineering with a focus on test automation
- Proficiency in C# and .NET testing frameworks like SpecFlow/Reqnroll
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Comfortable with manual testing in complex business domains (ideally finance or data-heavy systems)
- Solid experience testing APIs, services, and data pipelines
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn APL; no prior experience required but curiosity is essential
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; agile and BDD practices

- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and contributing to process improvements
- Interest in expanding programming skills and new paradigms
