Job title: Senior Software Developer - Java/Springboot
About the Role Senior Software Developer – Java/J2EE/SpringBoot with AWS experience to design, develop, and modernize enterprise web applications. You will work on cloud-native architectures, API integrations, and modernization initiatives to deliver scalable solutions for enterprise customers.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, enhance, and modernize enterprise Java applications in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Manage customer demands to ensure satisfaction and maintain quality; assist in creating technical documents.
- Coordinate between internal and external resources to ensure smooth service delivery and workflow.
- Lead evaluation of project data, set targets and priorities, and provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Stay current with industry practices and trends to improve delivery standards.
- Ensure APIs are robust, maintainable, and well-integrated across multiple layers of the stack.
- Perform other technical duties as required and support agile development processes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Java application modernization, including upgrading legacy apps to newer Java LTS versions (Java 17/21/25) preferred.
- Strong background in enterprise-level software and web apps using J2EE/Spring Boot.
- API integration experience, cloud architecture, and application security.
- Proficient with Git, Maven, JFrog; solid OOP fundamentals.
- Unit Testing and Integration Testing experience; Agile methodology experience.
- Expertise with REST and SOAP APIs using Microservices in production environments.
- Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of architecture requirements and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with core AWS services and best practices.
- Exposure to AWS Transform Custom (ATX) or similar automated code modernization tools is a plus.
- Cloud development, deployment, and debugging using AWS APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and REST API integration.
- Strong collaboration skills for distributed teams.

- Additional exposure to ATX or similar modernization tools; AWS experience; Angular/TypeScript.
