Job title: Senior Software Developer (C#) / Scrum Master
About the Role A hybrid Senior Software Developer role in Roche Diagnostics Solutions (Spain) combining hands-on development in C# with Scrum Master responsibilities. You will own the full software development lifecycle and guide the team through Agile practices to deliver high-quality, data-driven applications.
What You'll Do
- Engineering & Development (75%): participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (feasibility, design, development, testing, bug fixing, maintenance); design and implement code with tests; produce unit and subsystem specifications; self-organize, estimate, plan, and track work; perform code reviews; assess design, functionality, usability, and performance; navigate ambiguity and maintain forward progress.
- Scrum Master Responsibilities (25%): serve as a servant leader for the development team; apply Scrum principles; remove blockers; empower the team; drive continuous improvement; increase transparency.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software development.
- Technical Skills: C#, WPF, and .NET 8.0; SQL Server with EF; Git/GitHub; Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); experience with AI-supporting tools; environment setup and Build Environments; excellent English communication.
- Scrum Master Skills: First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I); at least 2 years as Scrum Master for a software development team applying Scrum; servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency; knowledge of common Scrum patterns.
