About the Role The Senior Software Developer at ASSET Technology Group will design and deliver software solutions across frontend and backend stacks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and architecture. This role involves exploring new technologies, producing proofs of concept, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software.
What You'll Do
- Develops and verifies requirements and analysis documents, ensuring quality and coverage of the project scope.
- Explores different technical topics and tools to assess feasibility of the given requirements.
- Develops, reviews, and validates design documents (architecture, database, and detailed design) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develops and presents software POCs and prototypes as required for project success.
- Performs the programming activities related to the development of software products, systems, and projects.
- Researches software alternatives and tools to assess feasibility of a given requirement.
- Conducts unit testing for the developed code, troubleshoots, debugs and fixes issues.
- Reviews defect reports, checks root causes for different types of defects, and ensures proper resolution.
- Reports accurate task status in a timely manner to the direct supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with frontend technologies: Angular, React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Node.js.
- Experience with datastores: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Strong ability to work across the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
