About the Role
Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundation for Microsoft's data centers and products. In this role, you will join as a Senior SoC Performance Verification Engineer focused on verifying and validating performance of System-on-Chip (SoC) designs that power Microsoft’s cloud solutions. What You'll Do

Lead and execute performance verification for SoC designs.

Develop and implement verification strategies, test plans, and testbenches to measure performance, power, and thermal characteristics.

Analyze and debug failing tests, collaborate with RTL designers, verification engineers, and hardware teams.

Create performance metrics, reports, and regression suites; optimize verification throughput. What We're Looking For

Experience in silicon verification for SoCs, preferably with SystemVerilog/UVM.

Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.

Familiarity with hardware verification methodology, simulations, emulation, or prototype platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
