About the Role Join Intel’s Silicon Photonics Q&R (SiPh) team that is in transformation and in its growing phase now, working to enable our internal leading edge SiPh photonics technology with integrated hybrid lasers and SOAs to our Intel Foundry customers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team that has propelled Intel to become a widely recognized leader in high-volume silicon photonics manufacturing and reliability! As a Senior Silicon Photonics (SiPh) Technology Development Engineer, you will drive reliability initiatives and help advance the technology roadmap for SiPh products.
What You'll Do
- Drive reliability engineering and technology development for SiPh.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enable integrated hybrid lasers and SOAs for Intel Foundry customers.
- Lead or contribute to manufacturing scale-up and reliability improvement programs for silicon photonics.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers as part of a growing, transformed SiPh team.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in silicon photonics technology development and reliability engineering.
- Experience with integrated hybrid lasers and SOAs.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-evolving team environment and support Intel Foundry customers.
