About the Role Senior Signaling & Communication System Engineer at Alstom, you will design, develop and implement railway signaling and communications solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance with the highest quality and safety standards while driving innovation in a global context.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and validate advanced signaling and communications systems for railway projects.
• Ensure integration of communication solutions in complex projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee system integration in global projects.
• Provide technical support during implementation and commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in engineering processes.
• Collaborate with teams worldwide and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive work culture.
• Prepare and manage interfaces with clients and stakeholders as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience/knowledge in railway signaling and/or communications.
• Strong knowledge of design and implementation of control and communication systems in the railway sector.
• Familiarity with railway safety standards and regulations (e.g., CENELEC EN50126/28/29).
• Certification or effective communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems in a structured and creative manner.
• Capacity to manage priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration in a global and inclusive setting.
• Advanced English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
