About this role
Job title: Senior Semantic Engineer
About the Role Senior Semantic Engineer to design and implement semantic data frameworks, ontologies, and knowledge graphs across enterprise data. Focus on semantic validation, data quality, and collaboration with AI teams to integrate semantic models into intelligent applications.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain ontologies (OWL/RDF or similar) modeling key enterprise data domains and relationships.
- Build and manage enterprise knowledge graphs by linking diverse data sources into a unified graph data model; configure graph databases/triple stores; populate with RDF triples; optimize for query performance and scalability.
- Create and optimize SPARQL queries and endpoints for advanced search and analytics.
- Implement semantic validation rules and data quality checks (SHACL or OWL constraints); define data modelling conventions and business rules.
- Integrate ontology and knowledge graph into data pipelines, APIs, and databases; collaborate with software engineers, data architects, and IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML teams; communicate semantic concepts to non-technical stakeholders; provide training/documentation.
- Integrate with AI agents and LLM teams to enable context-aware AI applications; support reasoning over ontologies.
