About this role
Senior SAP PMO Consultant
We're looking for a Senior SAP PMO Consultant, for Amer Sports' office in Kraków.
Amer Sports is a global collective of iconic sports and outdoor brands, powered by a community of people who share a passion for authenticity, impact, and excellence. We bring together leading brands, talented teams, and a culture built on collaboration. If you're looking for an environment where you can make an impact and grow your career, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.
This role puts you at the center of Amer Sports' SAP transformation — owning the PMO function for ECC Stability, our multi-year program to keep the SAP ECC landscape compliant and stable through to the S/4HANA, while also supporting our Group-wide S/4HANA program. You'll work across two strategic workstreams, partnering with internal SAP teams, brand IT organizations, and external advisors across European and North American time zones.
What you will be doing
ECC Stability
- Own end-to-end PMO coverage across the four ECC Stability pillars: Data Archiving, Batch Jobs Rationalization, Code Review & Optimization, and Performance Upscaling
- Maintain the integrated plan, milestone tracking, action logs, and risk and issue register; run the meeting cadence including agendas, pre-reads, and follow-ups
- Serve as the primary internal counterpart to the external stability-acceleration workstream — structure the inputs it needs (incident and change data, plans, status), review its outputs, and keep the internal program view current
- Produce ECC Stability status reporting for the Senior Engagement Manager, Group IT leadership, and the Digital Transformation Office portfolio; carry stability risks and dependencies into SAP program governance
Transformation Support
- Support the SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation program on behalf of Group IT: plan maintenance, cadence logistics, action and decision logs, and status consolidation
- Keep ECC Stability and transformation plans aligned wherever they intersect: interfaces, cutover windows, shared SAP resources and flag conflicts early
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Act as a reliable bridge between Group IT's SAP teams, brand IT teams, and external partners across European and North American time zones
Standards & Continuity
- Maintain PMO standards, templates, and documentation to ensure consistent execution and smooth handover
- Contribute to the Digital Transformation Office's project reporting and demand management processes
What you need to succeed
- 3–5 years of PMO or project management experience on large-scale ERP programs, ideally in a global enterprise or consulting environment
- Solid understanding of the SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscape: integration mechanics, release cycles, and technical concepts. Sufficient to structure inputs and constructively challenge plans
- Proven experience feeding or coordinating external consulting engagements on scope, inputs, and deliverables
- Ability to run plans, logs, cadences, and reporting reliably without close supervision
- Comfort in managing two workstreams simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong ownership mindset with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
- Exceptional communication skills to build trust across technical teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners
- Ability to challenge plans and ask the right questions in a complex technical environment
- Fluent English - At least B2 level
What we consider a plus
- Exposure to SAP stability, application management, or upgrade programs
- ITIL, PMI, or PRINCE2 certification
