A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior SAP FI/CO/PS Architect, you play a key role in designing, implementing, and governing the SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture for Permanent Establishment (PE) Accounting based on a dedicated Company Code per PE. You ensure scalable, compliant, and audit-ready finance processes across a global SAP landscape. The position acts as a cross-functional interface between Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, and external implementation partners, driving harmonized processes and seamless integration with reporting, consolidation, project management and governance structures.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and advise the design and implementation of PE Accounting and a scalable Company Code structure within an international SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Configure and enhance SAP FI, CO, and PS processes, organizational structures, and the Universal Journal, ensuring end-to-end integration with MM, SD, and related finance solutions.
- Define governance, standards, and operating models including master data, controls, compliance, and audit requirements for the future PE Accounting.
- Harmonize accounting, controlling, closing, reconciliation, reporting and consolidation processes, including SAP Group Reporting.
- Develop business blueprints, functional specifications, solution designs, data models, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, and external partners throughout testing, cutover, hyper care, and productive operations.
- Establish sustainable support, incident, release, and change management concepts for productive SAP environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of tax applications and related processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, Solution Architect or SAP Finance Lead in complex international S/4HANA transformation / rollout programs including Change Management and PMO.
- Practical experience and understanding of international tax principles and the taxation of cross-border transactions is a big plus
- Deep expertise in SAP FI, CO, PS, and S/4HANA Finance, including General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting and Project Systems.
- Strong knowledge of Universal Journal, Group Reporting, legal and management consolidation, financial closing, reconciliation, reporting data models and master data harmonization.
- Excellent understanding of integration across FI/CO, PS, MM, SD, Central Finance, interfaces, and data extraction and transformation; experience with BW/4HANA, SAC, CDS Views or Fiori is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of tax and finance processes, including VAT determination, tax compliance reporting, and tax applications.
- Understanding of PE Accounting and Tax Compliance, legal entity and branch structures, and governance, compliance, audit and regulatory requirements in international organizations.
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style with strong ownership, stakeholder management, communication skills, excellent command of English / German is a plus.
