Job title: Senior SAP BRIM Architect
About the Role Lead design and implementation of SAP BRIM-based billing and revenue systems for a global business, translating business requirements into scalable architectures that drive accurate revenue recognition. Collaborate with finance, sales operations, and IT to influence technical decisions and ensure solutions scale.
What You'll Do
- Lead design sessions with finance, sales ops, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP BRIM solution architectures
- Configure and extend SAP BRIM modules including Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, Convergent Charging, and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
- Design and implement integrations between BRIM and upstream systems using standard APIs, custom interfaces, and middleware
- Document functional specifications, process flows, and technical designs that development teams and business users can actually use
- Build and execute test scenarios covering end-to-end Order-to-Cash and revenue recognition workflows, including edge cases and error handling
- Troubleshoot production issues across billing, invoicing, and revenue posting, working with ABAP developers and basis teams to resolve root causes
- Drive process optimization initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current workflows and recommending scalable, reusable solutions
What We're Looking For
- Deep experience in SAP BRIM, including Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, Convergent Charging, and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
- Ability to design solution architectures and communicate with Finance leadership
- Comfortable whiteboarding architectures and debugging FI-CA postings in a sandbox
- Proficiency translating flexible billing requirements into Convergent Invoicing configurations, integration touchpoints, and test plans
- Experience designing end-to-end Order-to-Cash and revenue recognition workflows
- Track record of identifying and mitigating technical debt in designs
- Ability to work with ABAP developers and basis teams to resolve production issues
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to map dependencies for scalable solutions
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $116,000–$173,000 USD per year. Remote eligibility: No. Additional benefits not listed in the posting.
