Job title: Senior SAP BASIS Consultant
About the Role Indra Group, a global leader in technology and digital consulting, is strengthening its SAP team in Portugal and is recruiting a senior SAP BASIS consultant with autonomy to engage in SAP S/4HANA projects, including implementations, upgrades, conversions, and migrations to SAP S4HANA Cloud.
What You'll Do
- Act as SAP Basis technical reference on projects.
- Prepare and execute upgrades, conversions and migrations to Cloud.
- Ensure stability, performance and security of systems.
- Support functional and technical teams with direct client interaction.
- Contribute to the technical design and planning of migrations.
What We're Looking For
- Academic degree (Licenciatura).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as SAP Basis consultant with proven involvement in SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Background in implementations and rollouts.
- Solid knowledge of ECC to S4HANA conversions and technical upgrades.
- Experience in migrations to SAP S4HANA Cloud.
- Ability to work autonomously with end-to-end technical responsibility.
- SAP Basis administration in S4HANA environments.
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining SAP systems.
- Experience with transport management STMS, system copies and environments.
- Solid knowledge of SUM, DMO, SPAM, SNOTE, Kernel Upgrades.
- Good knowledge of monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) is valued.
- Notions of security, certificates and SAP architecture.
- SAP Certifications are valued.
- Experience in complex environments or international projects is valued.
