Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. The client operates a peer-to-peer delivery platform that connects individuals with items to send to drivers heading in the right direction. This service caters to individual consumers as well as small and large businesses.

You'll join the team on a 3-month contract basis, with strong potential for long-term engagement. You will serve as the primary technical specialist responsible for designing, building, and optimizing custom Salesforce solutions. The perfect candidate brings strong hands-on experience in programmatic Salesforce development (Apex, LWC), DevOps management, and modern AI prompt integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem. This person would work with other software engineering teams to integrate externally created components and APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development (Senior level).
• Strong knowledge of Apex (Apex Jobs, asynchronous processing, unit testing, optimization).
• Advanced experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Knowledge of Custom Buttons and Custom Actions.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps Center Management for CI/CD and deployment tracking.
• Understanding of AI Application Prompt Creation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, taking ownership of development tasks from concept to delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams and new management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce programmatic solutions using Apex (controllers, triggers, batch jobs) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

• Build and configure Custom Buttons and Custom Actions to enhance user workflows and operational efficiency.

• Manage deployment pipelines and release cycles using Salesforce DevOps Center.

• Create and refine AI Application Prompts to support emerging Salesforce AI capabilities and business automation.

• Act as the subject matter expert on Salesforce development best practices for internal stakeholders and management.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize existing code, and maintain high standards of system health and security.
