Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to support a large-scale Salesforce modernization and optimization initiative. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA, and project leadership to define requirements, clarify business needs, and support delivery across multiple Salesforce workstreams.

The Business Analyst will help bridge business and technical teams throughout discovery, development, testing, deployment, and transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and facilitate discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Maintain and refine requirements and backlog items throughout the project lifecycle.

• Partner with Salesforce architects and development teams to clarify requirements and support solution design.

• Identify process gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Support backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and ongoing requirements clarification.

• Coordinate with QA and business stakeholders during testing and user acceptance activities.

• Support release readiness, deployment planning, documentation, and transition activities.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and communicate requirements, decisions, and impacts across teams.

• Help manage scope by identifying new requests or changes that may fall outside established requirements.

The Business Analyst may support initiatives across areas such as:

• Salesforce platform modernization

• Data storage and archival

• Apex and automation modernization

• Salesforce Flow

• QA and test automation

• Environment and data management

• Release and deployment readiness

• Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting complex enterprise technology initiatives.

• Strong experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or modernization initiatives.

• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

• Strong experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other requirements documentation.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce functionality, automation, data, and platform capabilities.

• Experience working with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, and project leadership.

• Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

• Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate between business requirements and technical teams.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce modernization or transformation experience.

• Experience with Salesforce Flow, Apex, integrations, data management, or automation initiatives.

• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog-management tools.

• Experience supporting testing, UAT, release readiness, and production deployments.

• Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or related certification.

• Experience working within large or regulated enterprise environments.
