Overview of the role

As a Senior Sales Executive - Generator Set Exports, you will play a key role in expanding the export business for generator set solutions across regional and international markets. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, understanding customer requirements and presenting solutions that support business growth. Success in this role requires strong generator set industry experience, export sales expertise and the ability to manage business-to-business sales opportunities from initial engagement through to successful order placement.

What you will do

• Identify and develop new export business opportunities for generator set products and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and key stakeholders across export markets.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and sales presentations to customers.
• Manage customer enquiries and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales records within business systems.
• Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions with customers.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and project deliveries.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports and market feedback to support business planning.

Skills

• Required Skills to be successful

• A valid UAE driving licence.

• At least seven years of sales experience in the UAE generator set industry.

• Hands-on experience in generator set export sales.

• Experience managing business-to-business sales opportunities and commercial negotiations.

• Degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

• A minimum of seven years of relevant sales experience within the UAE generator set industry.

• Proven experience in generator set export sales.

• Strong understanding of business-to-business sales processes.

• Experience conducting commercial negotiations and preparing customer proposals.

• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable commercial solutions.

• Experience maintaining accurate customer, opportunity and sales records.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Effective communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term business relationships.

• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English.

• French language skills would be advantageous.
