Senior Sales Engineer

About the Role

Senior Sales Engineer to deliver technical presentations of Selector's AIOps analytics solution to prospects and customers, align with sales, and architect deployments, focusing on reducing outage metrics and delivering value.

What You'll Do

• Deliver technical presentations demonstrating Selector AIops analytics capabilities to prospects and customers, leveraging knowledge of application and network protocols.
• Work with sales to understand business challenges and how Selector AI can improve business continuity and reduce MTTR metrics (MTTD, MTTI, MTTR).
• Scope and architect customer deployments of the SelectorAI platform to solve critical customer issues.
• Lead customer POVs to demonstrate value and outcomes, understanding network and monitoring protocols such as SNMP, BGP, Syslog, Rest APIs, telemetry (gNMI), and other integrations.
• Collaborate with customer operations teams to understand workflows and learn how to best integrate the Selector AI platform.
• Provide post-sales technical support (training, deployment, support) in collaboration with the Selector Customer Success team.
• Research technical topics for customer engagements and stay informed on industry trends to grow as an industry leader.
• Build and maintain technical and trusted advisory relationships with customers and peers.

What We're Looking For

• Deep understanding of networking and network-related protocols (MPLS, BGP, Traffic Engineering, IGPs, SD-WAN, Wireless).
• Experience delivering technical outcomes to Fortune 500 companies.
• Must be able to travel for in-person customer visits (1-3x per month).
• 5 years experience in a pre-sales technical role in networking or application technology domain.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring; bonus if you have experience with hypervisors and REST APIs.

• This is a quota-carrying position with a mix of base salary and commissions.
