Job title: Senior Sales Engineer
About the Role Senior Sales Engineer for Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, focusing on the European Market. This is a remote role with up to 40% travel. You will design customized technical solutions to meet customer requirements and drive revenue and profitability for Magnetics in Europe.
What You'll Do
- Design customized technical solutions to meet customer requirements and increase revenue and profitability for Magnetics in Europe.
- Interface with customers to promote and sell Magnetics products; design inductors and transformers; collaborate with direct accounts and distributor sales teams to review sales plans and develop strategies.
- Provide technical training and support to Magnetics Sales Engineers, Customer Service, and Distributor Sales Engineers; create and execute business plans to grow market share and promote the Magnetics brand in new designs.
- Prepare and deliver sales and technical presentations; collaborate with marketing, engineering, and production to implement strategies; coordinate with Engineering and Quality to address customer complaints and returns.
- Lead sales support activities such as quotes, sampling, and customer service; negotiate special pricing and conditions to improve profitability; manage customer support to meet customer needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline; 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Business Development in a technical environment.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate in German, Italian, or Spanish preferred.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

- Master’s degree preferred.
- German, Italian, or Spanish language ability preferred.
- Experience with magnets, soft magnetic components, or electronics industry would be beneficial.
