About the Role Senior Sales Assistant to lead the diverse team at the Sheffield Meadowhall Dr. Martens store. You’ll act as a role model and coach within the management team, helping to drive performance, customer experience, and operational excellence while developing your people management skills. What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the store when necessary, following all procedures.
- Hit and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to the store's overall performance (Sales, Conversion, UPT, ATV).
- Lead on stock and delivery procedures; process stock in line with company expectations.
- Support the store management team with day-to-day operations and health & safety (delivery, clock in/out, stock takes, replenishment, floor management); maintain a safe, tidy work environment.
- Deliver high standards of customer service to ensure an exceptional experience; handle till transactions and assist with more complex customer enquiries.
- Align with DM Way success factors: Develop, Lead, Explore, Invent, Connect, Influence, Drive, Organise.
- Foster a high-performance culture and support team development and holidays coverage. What We're Looking For
- An engaging and responsible individual with potential to develop into people management and operational skills in retail.
- Comfortable leading a diverse team as a role model and coach; able to inspire enthusiasm for DM’s future.
- Strong customer service orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; able to manage till operations and resolve enquiries.
- Flexible availability to cover shifts across 7 days and support holiday cover for management alongside 24 hours per week. Nice to Have Compensation & Benefits
