Join a small industrial robotics team as a foundational senior engineer, owning the robotics software stack for an intelligent work cell. Your work will help automate demanding manufacturing processes, including surface finishing, welding, and coating.
What You'll Do
-
Own the core robotics software stack for the work cell.
-
Develop and optimize motion planning, trajectory generation, and control for robot arms.
-
Integrate cameras, force and torque sensors, and other perception systems into real-time control loops.
-
Implement industrial safety concepts and fail-safe behaviors.
-
Lead on-site testing, calibration, and commissioning in industrial environments.
-
Drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
What We're Looking For
-
At least five years of robotics engineering experience working with real robot hardware.
-
Strong knowledge of kinematics, motion planning, trajectory generation, and control theory.
-
Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, plus 3D CAD experience with tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
-
Hands-on experience with industrial or collaborative robot arms, end-of-arm tooling, and associated sensors.
-
Experience integrating vision and force or torque sensors into real-time robot-control loops, and deploying robotic systems in production environments.
-
Fluent English; German is a plus. Must be eligible to work in Germany.
-
Experience in surface-finishing, welding, or coating automation, machine vision or 3D perception, and industrial protocols such as EtherCAT or OPC-UA is valuable.
