About the Role Silvus Technologies is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to develop the RF subsystem for the StreamCaster MANET product line. The successful candidate will participate in all stages of the design process, from RF front-end to baseband integration, with a focus on EMI performance and manufacturability. This fully onsite role is located at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in West Los Angeles. What You'll Do
- Antenna to baseband RF subsystem design using discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs (PLL, LNA, Mixers, PA)
- Implement or supervise schematic capture and PCB layout
- RF performance characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and pass emission and immunity regulations
- Troubleshoot RF-related production yield problems
- Improve design for manufacturability
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Travel: Rare local travel (Irvine, West LA) as required What We're Looking For
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher)
- Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience
- Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging
- Hands-on experience with EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues
- Experience using RF simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, Altium)
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident) due to clients under US federal contracts
- Willingness to travel up to 10%

- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering

- Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 per year
