Job title: Senior Regional Production Specialist
About the Role The Senior Regional Production Specialist will apply underwriting expertise, marketing and sales skills to meet production underwriting goals while maintaining budgeted loss and expense ratios. The Head of Property for the Zone will rely heavily on this position to guide, mentor and train junior team members, assist in planning and budgeting, and foster collaboration across AIG divisions and a culture of diversity and inclusion.
What You'll Do
- Underwrite risks to maintain and profitably grow our E&S portfolio across desired business segments.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and be reliably visible to wholesale trading partners.
- Review and negotiate manuscript form wordings and coverages.
- Act as a senior mentor to train and guide other members of the team within the Zone.
- Assist in planning and budgeting and collaborate across AIG divisions; help build a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Work with regional Property leadership peers to build a nationally renowned Lexington team.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years' experience in Commercial Property E&S underwriting.
- Ability to underwrite property risks across the spectrum of E&S Property business while helping to set direction for your team and maintaining a balanced portfolio across primary and excess placements.
- Ability to underwrite 100%, primary/shared and layered, and excess structures.
- Strong understanding of current market conditions; able to quickly make decisions, turn around quotes and manage multiple prospects at one time.
- As a senior leader within Lexington, take on responsibilities beyond everyday management and underwriting, including mentoring, cross-zone collaboration, and driving a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Must be able to work with regional Property leadership peers to continue to build a nationally renowned team and culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: New York positions $140,000–$172,000; Massachusetts positions $140,000–$170,000 (USD/year).
- Bonus: Eligible for a bonus per applicable incentive plan.
