About the Role Join Squire Patton Boggs's Dallas team as a Senior Real Estate Associate. The ideal candidate handles complex commercial real estate development, purchase and sale transactions, financing for lenders and borrowers, and leasing for both landlords and tenants, delivering results across office, retail, industrial, multi-family residential, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. What You'll Do
- Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, easements, declarations, and other development-related documents.
- Drafting and negotiating loan documents.
- Preparing and negotiating leases in all sectors.
- Closing acquisition, sale, and financing transactions.
- Working through complex title insurance issues.
- Supervising junior associates.
- Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication abilities; the ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality and ethics, and provide high level client service.
- Working without constant supervision, displaying initiative in seeking and managing workload; proposing projects or alternatives to complete assignments. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions and related practice.
- Admitted to a US State Bar and in good standing; admission to the Bar in the state of the primary office is expected if not currently admitted.
- JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record and excellent credentials.
- Knowledge, Skills & Experience as listed: drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases; closings; title insurance issues; supervising junior associates; excellent written and verbal communication; flexibility, composure, prioritization, ethical confidentiality, and strong client service.
- Ability to work without constant supervision and take initiative, including formulating and recommending project approaches that benefit the client. Compensation & Benefits
