Job title: Senior Real Estate Associate
An experienced Senior Real Estate Associate to join our Dallas office, handling complex development, purchase and sale transactions, and financing for both borrowers and lenders. The role also involves representing landlords and tenants in leasing matters and supporting clients across diverse real estate sectors.
What You'll Do
- Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, easements, declarations, and other development-related documents
- Drafting and negotiating loan documents
- Preparing and negotiating leases in all sectors
- Closing acquisition, sale, and financing transactions
- Working through complex title insurance issues
- Supervision of junior associates
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility, composure, and the ability to prioritize and handle urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy; the ability to remain composed and professional under stressful circumstances; commitment to ethical and confidentiality requirements; strong client service skills
- Ability to work without constant supervision, demonstrating initiative in seeking work and managing workload; active in formulating and recommending projects or alternative ways to complete projects that will benefit the case/client
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in real estate practice
- Admitted to a US State Bar and in good standing; admission to the Bar in the state of the primary office expected if not currently admitted
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
- Excellent credentials and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, easements, declarations, and other development-related documents
- Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents
- Experience preparing and negotiating leases in all sectors
- Experience closing acquisition, sale, and financing transactions
- Ability to work through complex title insurance issues
- Demonstrated supervision of junior associates
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and manage workload; client-service oriented and ethical
