Senior React Native Developer

Location: Plano(Onsite) Experience: 5+ Years

The role

We are hiring a Senior React Native Developer to lead mobile delivery for ISHIR's client products. You will design, build and own cross-platform apps used by real customers in industries such as healthcare, fintech, retail and logistics, from first architecture sketch to App Store and Google Play release.

You will set architectural direction across our mobile codebases and mentor the engineers around you. You will also help define how ISHIR uses AI-assisted development: shipping faster with tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code, while holding a high bar for code quality, security and review.

This role suits a self-directed engineer who pays close attention to detail, enjoys client-facing work, and manages competing priorities well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and own React Native applications and native modules for iOS and Android, driving architectural decisions across client mobile codebases.

• Build intuitive, accessible and high-performing user interfaces that turn client product goals into experiences users enjoy.

• Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers on React Native best practices, native bridging, state management and performance optimization.

• Own release management end to end: CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, OTA updates, monitoring and rollback strategy.

• Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to speed up coding, debugging and integration work, and set team standards for responsible AI use, including review practices and quality gates.

• Integrate mobile apps with REST and GraphQL APIs, cloud services and third-party SDKs (payments, analytics, push notifications, authentication).

• Partner with clients and with ISHIR's product, design, QA and backend teams to scope feasibility, estimate effort and shape product roadmaps.

• Contribute to technical proposals, discovery workshops and solution architecture for new client engagements.

• Required skills and qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production React Native applications, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or mentoring role.

• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Hands-on native development in Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS), including writing native modules and platform-specific debugging.

• Proven ownership of mobile release management, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, EAS) and rollback strategy.

• Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants in a professional workflow, with sound judgment on when to trust AI-generated code and when to write or review by hand, and the ability to teach that judgment to others.

• Strong grasp of mobile performance, offline support, security and accessibility best practices.

• Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders.

• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

• Nice to have

• Experience with React (web), .NET/C#, Java or Objective-C.

• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure, including serverless and mobile backend services.

• Experience building AI-powered mobile features, such as LLM integrations, on-device ML or conversational interfaces.

• Experience leading a codebase migration, platform consolidation or team restructuring.

• Background in an agency, consultancy or product studio delivering for multiple clients.
