Senior Quantity Surveyor

We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in Chiswell Street, London. Location: Chiswell Street, London (with site visits as required) Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Construction team, where you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in line with contractual obligations while supporting the wider commercial and operational teams. Working with a collaborative and supportive environment, you'll help drive commercial success whilst building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering construction projects successfully. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs and values whilst maximising project profitability
  • Procuring and commercially managing subcontractor packages, including assessment and certification of payments
  • Preparing monthly applications for payment and agreeing final accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships whilst mentoring junior team members

What are we looking for? This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within the construction industry
  • You have experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs
  • You possess excellent negotiation, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • You hold a Full driving licence
