We are seeking a hands-on, collaborative Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in a precision metal machining environment serving the aerospace industry. This role is deeply integrated with shop floor operations, working closely with machinists, engineers, and leadership to ensure product quality, drive process improvements, and uphold aerospace standards. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and shop floor leadership to monitor, analyze, and improve product quality in aerospace-grade components. Develop and implement process improvements in precision metal machining to meet or exceed aerospace standards and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. Work cross-functionally to identify root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and drive performance improvements. Foster a culture of safety and teamwork while delivering results.
Hands-on, collaborative Senior Quality Engineer with experience in manufacturing, ideally aerospace or precision machining. Strong ability to work with machinists, engineers, and leadership; excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with aerospace standards and quality systems; track record of driving process improvements and problem-solving on the shop floor. Data-driven, proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
