Job title: Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d)
About the Role The QA Engineer will define and execute quality strategies for complex healthcare software across the full development lifecycle in an agile setting. You will design and maintain robust manual and automated test suites, drive QA process improvements, and collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and domain experts. You will leverage generative AI tools responsibly to enhance test design, exploration, analysis, and documentation, while mentoring others in a regulated healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain robust manual and automated test suites
- Embed testing early in the development process and support risk-based release decisions in an agile environment
- Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and tooling
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and domain experts
- Own quality outcomes, conduct defect analysis, and communicate risks and metrics to stakeholders
- Mentor others and contribute to a culture of high-quality engineering within a regulated healthcare environment
- Use generative AI tools to enhance testing activities such as test design, exploratory testing, analysis, and documentation in a compliant manner
What We're Looking For
- Experienced QA engineer with ownership of quality outcomes in an agile healthcare context
- Strong testing strategy, design, and execution across manual and automated testing
- Proficiency with QA tooling and test automation
- Ability to analyze defects and communicate risks and metrics to stakeholders
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Mentoring or leadership experience to guide others
- Familiarity with working in a regulated healthcare environment and understanding of safety requirements
- Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, product managers, domain experts)

- Knowledge of AI-enabled testing approaches within regulated environments
