Senior QA Automation Engineer responsible for delivering robust Java-based test automation using Cucumber, Selenium, and UFT. 8–10 years of total experience with 5–8 years in test automation; strong OOPs concepts, debugging, and problem-solving; work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments. What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automation frameworks using Cucumber, TestNG, and Selenium.
- Implement API testing using Rest Assured; develop end-to-end automated test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams; participate in SDLC activities (Agile, Waterfall).
- Utilize Bitbucket, Maven/ANT for build and version control; integrate with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Apply QA processes and tools (Octane, JIRA, HP ALM).
- Diagnose failures, debug issues, and improve test coverage and reliability.
- Contribute to framework development and code quality improvements. What We're Looking For
- 8–10 years total experience, with 5–8 years in test automation; minimum 3 years Java development.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Selenium, UFT; strong OOP concepts, debugging, problem-solving.
- Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG; experience with Bitbucket, Maven, ANT; SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of QA processes/tools (Octane, JIRA, HP ALM).
- Java/Selenium automation scripting; API testing with Rest Assured; CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills; client-centric mindset. Nice to Have
- Experience with UFT (if not already included in mandatory).
- Any additional automation or scripting experience. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 – $135,000 USD per year.
