About the Role Wipro is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong automation testing experience to help deliver robust software solutions. The role emphasizes automated functional testing, API development, modern DevOps practices, and a full-stack skill set within an Agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Champion and write extensive automated functional tests to provide rapid feedback on business requirements, with a strong understanding of BDD.
• Develop a comprehensive testing suite, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Playwright and Selenium.
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Design, develop, and implement high-performance RESTful APIs leveraging Java/Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Maven/Gradle for build, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift) to enable reliable deployments.
• Work within Agile methodologies and use project management tools such as JIRA.
• Use GitHub Enterprise for version control; contribute to code reviews and collaboration.
• Perform full-stack development tasks: front-end (React, HTML5, CSS) and back-end (Java/Python) with strong API design.
• Apply database expertise (SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle) and sound data structures/OOP principles.
• Embrace modern application development, microservices (Spring Boot), event-driven services, and cloud-native patterns, with optional AI-assisted development workflows.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of proven software development and testing experience.
• Extensive automation testing experience with BDD, Playwright, Selenium, and JMeter.
• API development experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and builds (Maven/Gradle), containerization (Docker), and deployment tools (Jenkins, OpenShift).
• Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA; GitHub Enterprise for version control.
• Strong full-stack capabilities: front-end React, HTML5, CSS; back-end Java/Python; relational databases (SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance development workflows is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Cloud-native and event-driven service architectures; GraphQL experience.
• Deep experience with microservices and Spring Boot.
• Additional experience with OpenShift.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 – $135,000 USD per year.
• Standard benefits include medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid/unpaid leave options.
