Senior Python Developer (Fintech)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Work closely with the Product team to design and deliver new features and services.
- Contribute to software development in an Agile and DevOps environment.
- Ensure deliverables meet defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Take ownership of Python-based components, including lifecycle event management, booking modules, and analytics reporting.
- Develop an understanding of the platform's business functionality and financial product workflows to support ongoing development and enhancement.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Python development experience.
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise applications.
- Strong Python skills, with experience in Django or FastAPI and Pandas or Polars.
- Good understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, HTTP connectivity, and data structures such as relational databases and JSON.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing.
- Familiarity with AI concepts, including machine learning and LLMs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to learn financial products and business workflows.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of financial markets, particularly derivatives and transaction flows. Candidates without prior financial markets experience are still welcome to apply.
