Senior Project Manager

About the Role Senior Project Manager leading SVX & AI Deployment efforts at Motorola Solutions. You will drive the rollout of SVX devices, oversee AI workflows, and serve as the primary liaison among Engineering, Product, and customer teams to ensure a converged ecosystem meets agency needs. You will manage multi-site programs spanning LMR voice, LTE data, video evidence, and AI-driven analytics with responsibility for delivering scope on time and within budget. What You'll Do

• Lead the rollout of SVX devices ensuring seamless Bluetooth/LTE connectivity with APX smart radios and V700/M500 in-car systems.
• Oversee the implementation of AI workflows (Assist AI, including Assisted Narrative, automated redaction, and ViQi voice-command integration).
• Serve as the technical liaison between Engineering, Product, and customers to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide strategic oversight for multi-site programs unifying LMR voice, LTE data, video evidence, and AI-driven analytics.
• Act as the focal point for all project aspects, delivering contractual scope on schedule and within budget.
• Align stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure a one-ecosystem delivery.
• Guide agencies through the transition from separate BWC/RSM devices to the converged SVX platform.
• Manage financials and performance: budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and margin management; mitigate risks associated with SaaS/DEMS cloud migrations and hardware refresh.
• Leverage PM tools (critical path analysis, change orders, action item logs) to resolve complex project issues. What We're Looking For
• Basic Requirements: High School diploma or Bachelor's degree, plus 4 years of Project/Program Management experience in Telecommunications, Video Security, or Public Safety Technology.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
• Travel 50-75%.
• Relocation Provided: None.
• Familiarity with PM tools (critical path analysis, change orders, action item logs). Nice to Have
• Team player capable of working effectively with general guidance; strong negotiating skills.
• Knowledge of wireless/LTE infrastructure and policies regarding retention and chain of custody.
• Deep understanding of Body-Worn Camera (BWC) workflows and Digital Evidence Management Systems (DEMS).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software (transcription, object detection, or NLP).
• Awareness of PMBOK or PRINCE2 standards.
• Exceptional ability to present complex ecosystem strategies to Police Chiefs, City Councils, and internal Executive leadership. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 USD.
