About the Role The Senior Project Manager (SPM) plays a pivotal role in leading the internal day-to-day operations and delivery for a set of strategic, creative and medium-to-high complexity tactical projects, from inception to completion, within a brand or multiple brands. The SPM has expert-level project management skills and acts as the primary internal nucleus for their projects, with limited supervision. What You'll Do
- Lead full lifecycle delivery and management of complex, technical, strategic and creative projects
- Develop and actively manage project timelines, estimates, risk registers, communication plans, burn reports and change logs with minimal oversight
- Lead the estimation process and provide project budget and staff plan parameters; partner with AD/GPD and Account to forecast and manage financials
- Lead project timeline creation alongside internal and external stakeholders with minimal supervision
- Lead project kickoffs and status meetings; create/review and distribute meeting recaps; mentor PMs and PCs to write actionable recaps
- Develop financial forecasts with AD and GPD; support monthly billing and analysis with AD, Finance and Account
- Assist with SOW development (annual and project-based) with Account Services, AD and GPD
- Contribute to Gantt chart inputs with ADs and GPD; aid change order creation and management
- Identify, evaluate, log, communicate and mitigate project-level risks; escalate as needed
- Collaborate with PMO leadership on program-level risk mitigation
- Determine staffing needs with resource managers and PCs; maintain accurate resource plans
- Resolve conflicts (scope, schedule, resources, budget, quality, communication) with minimal oversight
- Ensure all project artifacts are stored in enterprise systems (Workfront, TFS, etc.)
- Enforce Intouch delivery processes and PMO standards across projects; mentor and train PMs/PCs
- Serve as escalation point for PMs/PCs; keep manager informed and propose solutions
- Participate in candidate interviews as needed; foster a diverse and inclusive team culture
- Travel and work expectations include less than 10% travel and a 40-hour work week, with occasional in-office collaboration where located What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3-5 years PMO experience
- Pharmaceutical or advertising experience preferred (AOR or DAOR)
- Advanced understanding and application of PMO standards and processes
- Experience delivering complex technology, strategy and creative projects
- Ability to develop and tailor heavy project plans; strong forecasting and burn analysis
- Excellent scope and change management and client-facing communication
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working with a range of functional groups and project teams Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring and developing junior PMs and Project Coordinators
- Experience leading cross-functional programs across multiple brands Compensation & Benefits
