We bring together leading brands, talented teams, and a culture built on collaboration. If you’re looking for an environment where you can make an impact and grow your career, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.

What you will be doing:

The Senior Project Manager, ERP Modernization is a hands-on role within the PMO team, supporting large-scale ERP modernization and transformation programs in an international environment. This role owns and coordinates professional program reporting for senior management, actively manages dependencies between Amer Sports programs and initiatives, and works closely with internal and external Senior Program Leadership to define the right focus and messaging for executive reporting.

The role takes hands-on ownership of project delivery, reporting, and quality assurance within the PMO team and contributes to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and ways of working. The scope of ownership is matched to the experience of the selected candidate.

Project Delivery & PM Ownership

  • Take hands-on ownership of full lifecycle SAP project delivery across all phases (planning, design, build, testing, deployment, stabilization).
  • Drive complex project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage commercial and contractual aspects, including financial oversight and compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation of SAP modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Coordinate work with other project managers and workstream leads as required.

Scope, Budget & Resource Management

  • Define, plan, and control project scope in accordance with business goals.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost effectiveness across complex project landscapes.
  • Allocate and optimize resources across multiple SAP workstreams.
  • Actively manage dependencies between Amer Sports programs and initiatives, and support alignment of project scope at the portfolio level.

Risk, Quality & Governance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues on both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Provide advanced risk management for large-scale and multi-layered project environments.
  • Ensure delivery meets quality standards and adheres to governance frameworks.
  • Conduct ongoing project reviews and own and coordinate professional program reporting for senior management.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and executives, and work closely with internal and external Senior Program Leadership to define the right focus and messaging for executive reporting.
  • Clearly present complex information, KPIs, and data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, using excellent PowerPoint skills and AI-supported tools for information aggregation and presentation.
  • Moderate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees with a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Navigate different cultural communication and leadership styles for effective international collaboration.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with and motivate cross-functional teams, including consultants and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO team processes and ways of working.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Support change management and stakeholder alignment across diverse cultures.

What you need to succeed:

  • 7–10 years of project management experience with meaningful hands-on experience on at least one large-scale, global ERP (SAP strongly preferred) or a digital transformation program end-to-end (design, build, test, cutover, hypercare)
  • Experience managing large and complex international ERP projects and change initiatives with business-process integration across finance, order management, supply chain / warehouse, data, and interfaces.
  • Experience owning program governance artifacts and reporting for senior stakeholders, including Steering Committee-level reporting
  • Proven experience indirectly supervising teams and/or other project managers. Successful track record with multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations
  • Strong program governance and PM capability: integrated planning, governance, RAID / change control, stakeholder management, and delivery assurance
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with complex, multi-module ERP implementations and industry best practices
  • Able to operate effectively in a matrixed, multi-partner environment (SAP Project teams, system integrators, Group IT, brand teams) with competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
  • Advanced use of project management tools for managing complex and parallel projects
  • Ability to drive initiatives hands-on and collaborate with other project managers
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels, including C-level
  • Strong strategic decision-making and risk management capabilities
  • Holistic understanding of enterprise processes and ERP system’s role in business transformation

What we consider a plus:

  • Prior consulting experience
  • SAP Project Manager certification
  • SAP ECC to S/4 HANA Project Management experience
