Senior Project Manager - AIC

About the Role Senior Project Manager to oversee AIC projects across strategy/assessments, architecture/design, implementation, and transition to operations. You will ensure service delivery success, quality, and customer satisfaction through strong project and program management practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead project initiation activities, confirm client objectives, success metrics, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and governance model.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, work breakdown structures, and RAID logs.
• Own project administration in AHEAD's tools, ensuring accurate setup, resource plans, budgets, and milestones.
• Apply change control and Project Change Request processes for scope, schedule, and budget changes with ELs, TLs, and Sales.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned projects; facilitate status meetings, steering committees, and executive updates; align delivery with AIC and client standards.
• Coordinate after-hours/weekend change windows with US-based PMs and TLs; act as offshore liaison during change events; maintain cross-time-zone communication.
• When no after-hours activities are scheduled, lead small to medium AIC projects during India/U.S. overlap hours.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies; ensure quality gates; track budgets and margins; maintain PSA data hygiene.
• Contribute to PMO standards and practice development; harvest reusable artifacts; coach junior PMs; collaborate on resource planning and staffing models.
• Identify follow-on opportunities during Pre-Sales; support client-facing teams as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 10–12+ years of progressive IT project management experience, including multi-phase engagements.
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) migrations, modernization, landing zones, platform build-outs.
• Data & AI experience: data platform implementations, analytics/BI, AI/ML initiatives.
• Application modernization / DevOps – refactoring, re-platforming, or re-architecting workloads.
• Track record of leading medium to high complexity, multi-stakeholder projects with client visibility.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and waterfall/hybrid methods.
• Experience coordinating global, distributed teams, including offshore resources.
• Ability to plan and manage after-hours/production change activities.
• Excellent written and verbal English; executive-ready reports; facilitating workshops and steering meetings.
• Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps boards, Jira, Salesforce).
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financials; consultative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Background in consulting or a services organization with AIC-style portfolios.
• Experience in cloud migration programs, landing zone builds, or modernization roadmaps.
• Data platform or analytics initiatives (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift).
• DevOps / CI-CD enablement or platform engineering.
