About this role

About the Role Lead planning and coordination of project execution for pharmaceutical manufacturing initiatives within GMO. Develop detailed execution plans, manage cross-functional collaboration with operations, manufacturing, QA, and external contractors, and ensure compliance with DRL’s engineering standards and regulatory requirements. Drive cost, schedule, and risk management to deliver projects on time and to quality standards. What You'll Do

  • Develop detailed project execution plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders (operations, manufacturing, quality assurance) to ensure alignment of objectives
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure that project execution plans comply with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories' engineering standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and identify deviations; implement project control measures for costs, schedules, and resources
  • Prepare regular project status reports for the Head of Project Execution and other stakeholders
  • Implement change management procedures to manage project scope changes and ensure that changes are properly documented and approved
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop risk response plans and contingency measures
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues, escalating complex issues to the Head of Project Execution as needed
  • Ensure lessons learned from project execution are documented and shared to improve future projects
  • Oversee QA/QC activities, ensure compliance with quality requirements, participate in project audits and inspections What We're Looking For
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum work experience: 12-15 years of experience in Project Engineering.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience in project management and engineering in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards
  • Knowledge of safety risk assessment/ Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study
  • Experience with project qualification procedures and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
