Job Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Project Delivery Support Specialist independently leads the delivery and quality oversight of advanced, complex, or interdependent support services for clinical functions and project delivery teams.

Within the defined service scope, the role coordinates support workflows, assures the quality and integrity of outputs, resolves non-routine exceptions, strengthens team capability, and improves support standards and controls. The role is accountable for support-service outcomes but does not own project plans, budgets, timelines, cross-functional project decisions, or overall project delivery.

Core Responsibilities

  • Independently lead and coordinate advanced support workflows within the defined service scope, integrating interdependent inputs and handoffs to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet established standards for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance.

  • Independently manage priorities, dependencies, handoffs, and capacity across assigned support services; resolve operational issues within defined authority; maintain visibility of workload, service performance, and delivery risks; and escalate matters requiring project-level decisions or changes to project commitments.

  • Coordinate and provide quality oversight for the timely and accurate filing of assigned essential documents in the TMF, including correct classification and metadata; review completeness and quality, reconcile discrepancies, and facilitate resolution or escalation of missing, incomplete, or rejected documents.

  • Maintain and oversee the quality, integrity, consistency, and appropriate control of project information, documentation, records, systems, and assigned trackers across areas of responsibility, including applicable document lifecycle and translation activities within scope.

  • Own quality oversight for assigned support services by defining and applying review controls, reconciling outputs across systems and sources, identifying recurring defects and root causes, and ensuring timely corrective action or escalation.

  • Apply advanced operational judgment to resolve non-routine support exceptions within defined authority and escalate decisions that affect project scope, plans, timelines, budgets, risk acceptance, or cross-functional commitments to the accountable project owner. Strengthen service delivery by improving standards, guidance, and controls, and build colleague capability through knowledge sharing, learning resources, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Use approved systems, automation, AI-enabled tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities to analyze support-service data, identify quality or capacity trends, and produce reliable reports and

advanced customized deliverables that improve operational visibility, efficiency, scalability, and consistency for project teams and clinical functions.

  • Support compliant, audit-ready, and inspection-ready delivery by promoting adherence to applicable company policies, procedures, regulatory expectations, privacy, information-security, and records-management requirements.

  • Maintain required role knowledge, training, time reporting, and individual performance expectations; identify and escalate discrepancies that may affect quality, timelines, productivity, service, or utilization measures where applicable.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.

  • • 1-3 years of relevant support experience, including sustained success independently delivering advanced, higher-complexity, or interdependent support services and demonstrated responsibility for quality oversight, exception management, or process improvement.

  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical operations, the clinical-trial process, project documentation, and the requirements of a regulated environment.

  • Ability to use business systems and information sources to maintain data integrity, reconcile and analyze information, and produce reliable reports and customized deliverables. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, quality-review, problem-solving, and escalation judgment.

  • Ability to work independently within defined authority; lead advanced support workflows; coordinate priorities, dependencies, handoffs, and capacity; coach and mentor colleagues; and translate recurring service issues into practical improvements to standards, guidance, controls, or learning resources.

  • Readiness for this level is demonstrated through sustained delivery of high-quality work within agreed timelines; independent leadership of advanced support workflows; effective quality oversight and proactive exception management; measurable improvements in service reliability, consistency, capacity, or efficiency; and meaningful contributions to colleague capability and continuous improvement. Readiness does not require ownership of project plans, budgets, timelines, or overall project delivery.
