About the Role A Senior Project Controller at ICM to help design a scalable project controls function and deliver clear visibility into cost, schedule, and risk across complex projects. What You'll Do

  • Build the project controls operating system with standards for setup, cost codes, baselines, reporting rhythms, change control, risk tracking, document control, and closeout.
  • Create cost and schedule visibility with budgets, commitments, actuals, forecasts, integrated schedules, critical path, lookaheads, and recovery plans.
  • Turn performance data into early action using variance analysis, earned value concepts, trends, forecast reviews to identify issues early and enable corrective actions.
  • Own the change management process from identification through pricing, schedule impact, approval, and baseline updates.
  • Maintain risk registers, opportunity logs, mitigation plans, and resource demand views to support timely trade-off decisions.
  • Strengthen project data and document discipline; ensure schedules, cost reports, change records, risk logs, and closeout records are accurate and retrievable.
  • Deliver decision-ready reporting with concise project and portfolio updates for leadership, highlighting status, variances, risks, and required actions.
  • Improve systems, tools, and adoption; leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365, scheduling tools, Power BI, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and related workflows while coaching teams.
  • Build lessons learned into closeout and post-project analysis to improve standards for future projects. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, Operations, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5–10 years of progressive project controls experience; expertise in cost forecasting, scheduling, variance analysis, change control, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint. Nice to Have
  • Preferred certifications: AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, PMP or equivalent in cost/scheduling/earned value management.
