  • Revolutionize Amazon's Last Mile Fleet Operations with Strategic Leadership and Innovation

  • We're seeking a dynamic Senior Program Manager to drive transformative improvements in vehicle safety and operational excellence across our regional delivery network. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fleet performance, implement solutions, and ensure our delivery stations operate at the highest standards of efficiency and safety. Travel for this role will be approximately 40-70%. This person will support the Lakes/Midwest regions in the United States and permanent work site will be required to be in that region.

  • Key job responsibilities

  • Lead full life-cycle of complex cross-functional projects and programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations

  • Seek to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions

  • Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order

  • Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.

  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs

  • Measure and manage performance to daily metrics as a Subject Matter Expert responsible for multiple Delivery Station Fleets to maintain the world’s safest and fully mission capable vehicles

  • Partner with Amazon Operations leaders, Delivery Service Partners (DSP), and program teams to source, allocate, and coordinate resources to achieve business goals

  • Synchronize with third party companies to ensure Best in Class service is provided to the Amazon Fleet

  • Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on operational management. You'll navigate complex projects, engage with diverse teams, and develop innovative approaches to fleet management challenges. Expect to move between strategic meetings, on-site assessments, and data-driven analysis that directly impacts our delivery capabilities.

  • Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
