About the Role Senior Program Manager at MTSI will lead and oversee complex, multi-disciplinary programs from planning through delivery in the Washington, DC area. This role partners with business development, engineering, finance, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget execution and alignment with contract requirements. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving to drive program success in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end program planning, execution, and risk management for large-scale initiatives.
  • Develop program plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics; track progress and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, finance, and customer organizations; resolve issues and dependencies.
  • Manage customer communications, contract deliverables, and change control to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • Mentor more junior program managers and contribute to process improvements and best practices. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of program management experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate effectively with executives and customers.
  • Strong analytical, risk-management, and problem-solving skills; ability to navigate ambiguous requirements. Nice to Have
  • DoD contract experience or security clearance.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, earned value management (EVM), and tools like MS Project, Jira, Confluence. Compensation & Benefits
